Quality mulches from Mandurah’s landscape supplies specialist

For quality mulches in Mandurah, you can’t go past Hamiltons Landscape Supplies - Soils Aint Soils Mandurah. We offer an affordable array of mulches suitable for all types of landscapes. From natural-coloured mulches to red and black varieties, we have something to suit every preference and budget.

Why Mulch is important

When mulch and soil conditioners are applied to the soil, fungi and soil bacteria begin breaking down organic matter into individual components, releasing nutrients. Moisture and air temperature regulate this release as well as controlling the plant growth, so the two go hand in hand. Mulches and soil conditioners are probably best described as ‘slow release fertilisers’. The advantage of mulching garden beds is that a layer 50mm thick will protect them from wind erosion and evaporation in summer. In the colder months, mulches act as a temperature buffer, maintaining soil warmth and promoting healthy growth. Mulching also helps control weed growth.

Our Mulch Range

A blend of crushed and composted tree cuttings and screened peat, this budget mulch is the ideal choice for any gardener. The rich dark colour provides an excellent contrast to highlight the plants in your garden as well as providing all the benefits of mulch.

Black Mulch

This mulch is a blend of crushed and screened composted green waste and peat, with crushed pine slithers, wood fines, screened black soil and manures blended together. This mulch has more fines, which gives it higher moisture-retaining qualities and a smooth texture finish. This black mulch is suitable in all areas of the house garden.

Jungle Mulch

Made from crushed jarrah and karri bark, and blended with peat, this mulch is suitable for any garden and is a popular choice with our customers. A premium black garden mulch, it’s also ideal for using in herb, rose and general garden areas.

Karri and Peat Mulch

This natural brown mulch holds its colour so is ideal for laying around native plants and trees, and for making paths. Made from crushed and screened pine bark, this mulch is suitable for the home gardens, commercial buildings, road verges and more – perfect for almost every situation.

Pine Bark

Choose this brown, woody mulch for your garden to create a natural and well-tended looking space.

Marri Woodchip

If you love the look of woodchips but are looking for something a bit darker why not try our Black Woodchip. This product is favoured by the local councils to enhance the centre median strip and what you have probably seen around town. Crushed bark and wood waste are blended and then coloured, and as the colourants used are highly resistant to UV fading, they don’t wash off in the elements.

Black Woodchip

Why not add a splash of colour to your outside space with this gorgeous red mulch? Crushed bark and wood waste are blended and then coloured, and as the colourants used are highly resistant to UV fading, they don’t wash off in the elements.

Red Woodchip

Whatever your preference, the Hamiltons Landscape Supplies - Soils Aint Soils Mandurah team can explain the benefits of all of our mulces, so that you can make an informed choice.
